.25 second exposure, 11 darks. Maxim DL.
No processing.

Images of the Venus Transit June 8, 2004
When Carl Houghton was putting the road in for our house his excavator bucket broke a tooth in trying to move a big rock. I named that rock "broken tooth rock" and the observatory was named after that. I had a real problem in deciding on a name for the observatory and this name felt really good after I decided on it.
Bigger version of M101.jpg M101 January 1, 2004. AP 130mm F8.3 Refractor, TCF Focuser ST10E, 900 seconds exposure, imaging a list of Messier Objects using ACP. Lots of things wrong with this image, guided poorly, lots of wind and clouds. Polar alignment is off by 1 minute or so.
M57 April 16, 2004. AP 180mm F9 Refractor, TCF Focuser, ST10E, 40 minutes exposure, -10 C. Deconvolved. Dark frame subtraction poor.
