The Les Miserables Fan Fiction Index, or LMFFI, has been up and more or less running for five years, at the time of this writing. It is, and has always been, called The Les Miserables Fan Fiction Index. As the name strongly implies, it is a directory of fan fiction based on Les Miserables.
At no time has it ever been known as The Repository of All Trivia and Scholarly Research Relating to Les Miserables. There's a really good reason for this.
Before you explore this site any further, read and understand the following golden rules:
I get a number of emails from people who, despite the clearly displayed title of the site, do not grasp these principles, and want to know things like:
"What are some objects in the book and what do they symbolize?"
"Has Les Mis been running continuously on Broadway since 1987?"
"Could you tell me what is the theme of Les Miserables?"
I do not have time for this sort of thing. I have all I can do to keep the site updated. If you are thinking of contacting me, consult the following chart:
| Is Your Question: | Then: |
