SPOTLIGHT ON: "Salvation", by Kanslady1

Having surrendered to Javert, what would Valjean really do when the Inspector went missing? The premise is a common one, but Kanslady1 handles it deftly and without undue melodrama, though the question of "What happens next?" is not yet answered.

WHAT'S NEW:

All righty. I'm finally caught up, I think, and I can begin to think about doing new and exciting stuff. You may have noticed some changes around the site; I went through and did a thorough reorganization. Specifically:

• All hosted stories are now in a folder by themselves.
• Contest entries are in the folder with regular fics.
• All pages (almost) have a new, tidier look.
• Character indices are no longer in a subdirectory by themselves; also, they're updated.

Hopefully these things should make the site easier both to navigate and to maintain. If you have any further suggestions, feel free to drop me a line.

I'm going to take this opportunity to renew my call for articles for the Resources section. I am always looking for material for this page, both opinion pieces (e.g. Lonely Gamine's essays) and information (e.g. Jeni Baron's "Guide to Men's Fashion"). Do you have an area of expertise, whether in historical details or in fanfic technique? Write it up and share. Do you have something you need to get off your chest, be it a pet fanfic peeve or a rave review? Write it up and let the world know.
