SPOTLIGHT ON: "Dawn", by Katri

While this debut by Finnish author Katri starts with a predictable premise -- thoughtful young girl tires of superficial society, meets young heroes -- the heroine, Aurore, is more than engaging enough to hold your attention, and les Amis are at their lovable best in Katri's hands. Well worth reading.
