Saturday, August 23, 2003 6:56 AM: ATTENTION: gacked from Yahoo! Mail:VIRUS ALERT - W32.Sobig.F@mm is a mass-mailing, network-aware worm that sends itself to all the email addresses it finds in certain files on your PC. If you receive a message with an attachment with a .pif or .src extension, we strongly suggest you scan it before downloading. The message may appear to be from someone you know. (If you don't have antivirus software, my loves, get it. It could save -- well, your online life, anyway. The stuff I use is called AVG AntiVirus, and is available here -- find the link that says "AVG Free Edition". It works pretty well.) I mention this because it piled into my mailbox and filled it to capacity twice in the past twenty-four hours, so if you tried to email me during that time, you should probably try again.
