Connection Information
In this section, you will be asked information about the account
you are creating. The first piece of information is the node or
system name. This is the name of your computer, or domain.
For example, if you chose yourcomputer as the node name, the complete
name of your computer would be yourcomputer.mv.com.
The node name must be all in lowercase, must start with a letter, and
can only contain letters, numbers and (dash) "-".
Node name for your computer:
When yourcomputer.mv.com connects to MV, it will be
logging in, using a log-in name which we will assign. This login name
will require a password. The password should be something you can remember
but is not easy to guess by someone else.

Select the protocol that your software uses. Note: if you have
a choice, we recommend PPP.
E-Mail Information
With each IP account, you may receive electronic mail (E-Mail) for up to
two users (ie. unique email addresses), with each user having their own unique username/password
combination. If you need more than 2 addresses for your IP account, more can be added
for an additional charge. Please contact one of our reps for pricing.
The Mail is stored in a POP3 Mailbox while you are not connected, and
may be retrieved by a variety of different E-Mail applications upon
logging in.
Your E-Mail Address has the format user@node.mv.com, so to continue
with the example used above, if you would like to have the E-Mail addresses
dan@yourcomputer.mv.com and raven@yourcomputer.mv.com you
would enter dan and raven in the user name boxes below.
Just as with yourcomputer.mv.com connecting to MV, a password is requiredfor users to retieve their mail.
