What is a Dialup IP account?A Dialup IP account gives you an inexpensive way to connect your computer directly to the Internet, over an ordinary telephone line. Using the standard PPP protocol (or SLIP, if you require it), this account puts your computer directly on the Internet. While your system is dialed into the Internet through a dialup IP account, you can access the vast array of resources available on the global Internet. |
What do you get?
In short, anything that's out there! |
Standard IP dialup: $22.50/month. Includes 400 hours (that's about 13 hours a day every day of the month). If you use more than 400 hours, there's a small charge of $.20/hour for that extra time.
Web Space (Home Page): With an IP account, you can have a standard web service with up to 20 MB of disk storage and up to 1000 MB (1 gigabyte) of data transferred each month.
Mailboxes: Up to 5 mailboxes are included with the Standard IP account. Each mailbox is actually a mailbox account, offering you a primary inbox that you can access with either POP or IMAP protocols, storage of mail folders that you can access via IMAP, and access to our filtering tools and web-based webmail interface.
Trial Period: Try out your IP account for up to two weeks. If you do not want to keep the account, just call us up and cancel within the two-week period. If you do decide to keep the account, simply don't cancel within the first two weeks.
Converting Account Type: You can convert your Standard IP account into one of the other types of IP accounts. See details.
Discounts: You may be eligible for one of our discounts for an IP account.
A $25 non-refundable payment is due within 2 weeks of the account's creation. The payment, plus an additional $5, will be credited to your account against future charges. Thus your initial $25 payment turns into a $30 non-refundable credit.
