What is a Full Usage T1 account?

MV's T1 leased line service utilizes a high speed T1 data circuit from Verizon which provides a direct link between your site and MV. (MV is responsible for ordering and specifying the data circuit.) We offer two categories of T1 service: full usage, described here, is for businesses and organizations that require high speed connections and frequently make heavy use of that connection, or who are resellers of Internet access or services. (The other category is standard usage T1.)

* Access to our Usenet News server
* Primary or secondary nameservice for up to 5 domains

Pricing/Info

MV's T1 rates are partly dependant on the cost of the underlying Verizon T1 circuit, which will vary depending on how far away your town is from our Manchester, NH location. This table reflects pricing for locations in Manchester. Contact us for specific quotes for other locations.

Equipment: Customer premise equipment is required and can be purchased from MV or provided by MV at an additional monthly rate -- in these cases, MV will perform the configuration of this equipment so that it is ready to plug in and go. See CPE description for information on the equipment that can be obtained through MV. Alternatively, you can provide your own site equipment, in which case MV may not be able to assist with setup nor guarantee operability.

Circuit cost: As noted above, T1 service relies on underlying Verizon circuits. Circuit pricing depends on several factors including distance, and may change over time as a result of Verizon's tariff changes, and changes in state and local fees. Your bill T1 bill may be adjusted to reflect such changes.

Circuit installation: MV will arrange the installation and maintenance of the Verizon line, and will bill you for the Verizon component. Unless you specifically want to deal with Verizon, your only maintenance and billing contact will be MV.
