This area lists the MV Dialup numbers that support V.90, ISDN, K56flex, and regular analog dialup via digital connection between the telephone company switch and MV facilities. We've divided it into these sections:


dialup

These numbers support V.90, K56flex, ISDN, and normal modem dialup up to 33.6kb. Make sure you are aware of various ISDN issues before making ISDN calls.

IP users who access the POP have to have either a dynamic IP address (much preferred) or a static IP address that is tied to the POP.

To avoid long-distance telephone charges, choose a number within your local dialing area. NB: MV makes no representation about your cost to dial any number-- to investigate access charges, contact your telephone company.

Concord Access via Verizon

For those of you dialing from the Concord area and who are served by Verizon, we encourage you to access our services via the numbers numbers listed elsewhere on this page. However, a number of communities around Concord are served by independent telephone companies which do not honor the numbers as local calls. If you are served by an independent telco and the Verizon exchanges in Concord are local to you, but the Brooks exchanges in Concord are not, then you should consider using our Verizon PRI service in Concord. We have established this service specifically for this situation.

Nashua Access via Verizon

Before we began deploying service via Brooks Fiber, we also installed V.90/K56flex/ISDN service out of some of our Points of Presence (POPs) through Verizon. So in addition to the Nashua service provided by the POP (above), we have the pre-existing service Verizon directly connected to our Nashua POP. To use this number, you must either have a dynamic IP address (preferred) or have a static IP address that is tied to the Nashua (nnh) POP.

This number supports V.90, ISDN, K56flex, and normal modem dialup up to 33.6kb. Make sure you are aware of various ISDN issues before making ISDN calls.
