God's
Family
We
have built upon the love we share
To
create our Father's home.
Let us lend our voices in fervent prayer
Like Christians did in the catacomb.
A living home has been our goal,
Where we could weather any storm.
A house of stone remains quite cold,
If its family is not loving and warm.
God's
family has been growing,
So the old dwelling could not provide
Adequate room for each one to sing
Though we'd attempt to squeeze inside.
Faith,
like a building, is by design:
St. Matthew's made the logical choice.
But enlightenment came from One Divine,
When our appeal came in one fervent voice.
As
we searched our hearts and made the call
We found no further need to roam.
With outstretched hands, god shall welcome all . . .
Since
His family has built Him a living home.
In
dedication of the new "Saint Matthew's church" in the
Town of
Windham, New Hampshire. May the Millennium angel guide our
Parish Community as our devoted and loving family of God
prayerfully begins a new era.
