I have just installed your Tiller Stay on my Catalina 27 and, in a word, it's TERRIFIC -- the best thing for short-handed sailors since self-tailing winches! In fact, I feel so much more comfortable with the Tiller Stay that I intend to single-hand the boat for a week's cruise next month (in company with other boats).

Over the years I have done a fair amount of single-handed sailing on cruising boats but never felt I could rely heavily on auto pilots because they are so cumbersome to set up for short absences from the helm, and, of course, drain the batteries severely. Tiller Stay seems to fill this gap admirably.
