The Meeting School
about
Do I have to be Quaker?

Definitely not.  About a quarter of our students tend to be Quakers, and about half of our faculty.

The high school years are an important time for wrestling with questions of spirituality and identity, and the Meeting School community welcomes and embraces people with all kinds of beliefs.  We do not offer any kind of indoctrination, but encourage vigorous conversation and deep exploration.

Quaker practices permeate our daily life together, and it is important that all community members respect the profound importance that spiritual beliefs have in many people's lives, in many different ways.
