GET AWAY TO THE MEETING SCHOOL
July 11-29, 2007

TMS invites you, your family and friends, to visit the campus for a day, a week, or as long as you can stay during this time period. We invite you to share the joy of summer on our 130 acres of fields and forest, experience the community spirit that guides us in our academic and common life, and have your personal retreat.

We invite you to work along with us in the garden, maintain and improve our physical plant, care for animals, pick berries, or make hay. We encourage you to explore the Monadnock region of which we are a part by hiking, swimming, canoeing and enjoying the many cultural offerings of Peterborough and Keene. Your activities on campus will be determined by you in consultation with our visitation/retreat coordinator, Zane Knoy, a former member of the Board of Trustees, who is managing this effort. Please contact him with your questions by email, phone or postal service. (see below for information)

Accommodations will be in student housing. Tents and small travel vans are also welcome. The kitchen will be available to you during your stay. Some meals can be provided by planning with the coordinator. Restaurants and food stores are nearby. We will need to limit our visitors to about 10 at any one time. We request a small donation for housing arrangements. The cost of food will be arranged based on the number of meals that are consumed on site through the coordinator.

Children are welcomed, but since it is a working farm, they will need to be under the supervision of parents while on the campus. Depending on attendance, some participant guided activities may be planned. Directions to TMS will be provided.

For liability reasons, we must ask that individuals staying on the school grounds do so at their own risk. We have been advised that we will need to have you sign a release form when you arrive.

To sign up, submit the form below, or call Zane at 603-669-0449, or print out the form and mail your information to Zane Knoy, PO Box 248, Manchester, NH, 03105-0248

Reservations for a dorm bed or camping site are on a first come, first serve basis.  Contact Chris at office@meetingschool.org or call (603) 899 3366.
