The Meeting School
about
Tuition and Financial aid

The Meeting School models a lifestyle of simplicity, and is committed to maintaining a student body that is economically and culturally diverse. Our tuition cost is in the lower third of the range for New England boarding schools, and a significant financial aid program aims to make a TMS education affordable for anyone.

The cost of tuition, including room and board, at The Meeting School is $36,200 for the 2007-2008 school year. Day Student tuition is $21,000.

Need-based financial aid, equal to more than 35% of the school's annual income from tuition, is awarded each year. About two-thirds of our families receive financial aid, and middle-income families often qualify for significant tuition assistance.

Financial aid applications are considered after a student is accepted to the school. To begin the financial aid application process, send the school a completed financial aid form. The school uses the School and Student Service for Financial Aid, a service overseen by the National Association of Independent Schools, which provides an objective calculation of a family’s need. Application forms can be obtained in paper from the TMS office, or can be filled out online at https://sss.ets.org.
