Study Hall
Each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, study hall is held to offer students a quiet and supportive space to work. Some students are assigned to study hall by their teachers if they need an extra push to help complete homework.
Learning Differences
The Meeting School staff is not professionally trained to support significant learning differences. However, many students find that the small, hands-on classes and supportive community an effective learning environment. Teachers work with individual students outside of class, ass
isting them in understanding assignments and giving added support.
Library and Research Access
Each residential house holds a part of the school's book collection, which includes many books for browsing and books used often in TMS classes, and some special collections such as our Quaker collection, Peace Studies collection, and Organic Farming collection. Each house also has one shared computer and Internet access. Faculty often take students working on research projects to the Franklin Pierce College library; community members also use the Rindge Public Library and the Keene State College library.
