The Meeting School
about
Courses

Math and writing seminars run all year in short blocks of 50 minutes, while long block classes of 80 minutes, including science, social studies, and arts classes, last one term each.  Students are enrolled in a full load of two short blocks and two long blocks in each term.

Students who have demonstrated a clear ability to take initiative and manage their academic time may design and request an independent study course if they have interests not represented in the class offerings; some students are able to use long-block time for farm-focused study.

Please follow the links below to read course descriptions for the 2006-2007 school year.
