South Palm Mac User Group

Greetings Members and wannabees.

SPMUG is a nonprofit organization founded in 1996 in Delray Beach, with about 10 members, which included Arthur and Bette Katz, Herb Hoffman, Oscar Winograd, Ruth Geldon, Sylvia Wallis, George and Marilyn Miller and Monroe Weller. Arthur Katz was the first president and Oscar Winograd was technical director.

When Herb Hoffman was elected president, and Arthur Katz, treasurer, we moved to a meeting room in the Delray Public Library. As we continued to grow, we moved to our current location in 2000.

We meet regularly on the third Friday of each month at the South County Civic Center in Delray Beach, 16700 Jog Road at 1 PM. The Center is located a little South of Linton Blvd. If you have questions or problems about Macs, we try to help you with them.

We also demo quite a few Applications and Utilities. In addition, we send out a few times each month our Newsletter SPMUG Tips and Tricks to all members who have email addresses. We try to have free raffles for prizes at every meeting. So come, meet our friendly group and start enjoying your computing experience.

If you have any questions about the club and want more information, call Abe at 561-637-1735 or email at
