Just go see the stats page for all the stuff you really don't need to know about me. :)
brother, Mike
My bro is one of my best friends. He'll be graduating from Indiana University in May 2000, with a
degree in Secondary Special Education and a Computer Education
endorsement. He plays the tenor saxophone in the IU Marching Hundred and
Crabb Band. He spends his summers up on Pine Mountain, at Horton
Center. (see church: state) He's
been there since 4th or 5th grade--it's in his blood. He loves hiking,
rock-climbing and canoeing, but has also done caving and hang-
gliding. He has his amateur (ham)
radio license, as does. the rest of the family. He's N1KZO.
mom, Kathe
My mom has been teaching for over 20 years. She started out in one of
the Merrimack elementary schools and then changed to another local
elementary school, both positions as a special ed teacher. After 15
years of that, she went back to school, to UNH and got her Ph.D. in Reading and
Writing Instruction. Since receiving this degree, she has been Assistant
Professor of Education at New England
College in Henniker, NH (the only Henniker in the world!). However,
as change is eminent in life, she will be leaving NEC after graduation
this spring, and most likely taking a position as a teacher-trainer in another
school...but it's not sure yet.
dad, Al
My dad worked at Digital, but now he of course works at Compaq. He's a software engineer and
all-around computer guru. All of my computer knowledge has come from
him. He's famous for his "teaching moments", and really does them
well...he's a fabulous teacher. I keep telling him that I'm waiting for
him to go through his mid-life crisis and quite Compaq to become a
teacher. :)

questions welcome.
She also loves hiking and gardening. This year she followed through on
one of her life-dreams: she started taking harp lessons. She has even
purchased a new harp to replace her first one that she'd had for less
than a year!! :) She's very happy with it. She is the director of the
children's handbell choir and the young children's handchime choir at church, and she plays in the adult handbell
choir. Her callsign is N1NYT.
He is the webmaster for the New Hampshire Odyssey of the Mind (NHOM) website, and is also the scoring
coordinator. He wrote the program that they use to do all the score
calculations and turn all the scores into HTML automatically for quick
uploading to the site. He is also active at the church, and sang in the
senior (adult, not just senior citizens :) ) choir until this year. He
enjoys rock-climbing like the rest of
the family, and hiking with Kathe. He's actually the radio guru of the
household, too. He's WA1TYB.
