The Center for Psychiatric Internetworking
(Just as the Shrinkatron page, this one is dead.) The CPI is an only partially-realized idea of Dr. Mark Stevens. The plan is to create a full-featured Internet node devoted to psychiatric internetworking. It is hoped that this will eventually include:
There is no plan to exclude psychology, social work, psychiatric nursing, or other related mental health content. I am unapologetic, though, about the initial strong psychiatric and medical focus. Since I am the only person currently working on the project, that emphasis reflects my own training and interests. Those interested in seeing non-psychiatric content or other sorts of servers are encouraged to contact the webmaster to get involved in contributing. At present this work is taking place on the Shrinkatron, a privately-owned i386/33 running Linux, on personal time. Support in the form of grants toward more robust hardware and financial justification for the use of professional time is being sought. MS-Global Marketing
