It seems Tunnel likes to get a bunch of orders in first, then they place orders with their wholesale suppliers to get the stock. All this does is delay getting your order, sometimes for a month or more. And sometimes, after a few months, you find out they just can't get a title they have on their list, which can be frustrating. I mostly use them as a last resort. |

| Comments: | Dealing with Tunnel Records is probably one of the more frustrating experiences I have had in searching for Bruce Springsteen CDs for several reasons. First, my initial expectations were very high because their web site features an extensive listing of titles. Although they caution that the listing of titles does not equate to an "in stock" list, I think this point could be made clearer. In most cases, you place your order with Tunnel and must await a shipment from a European wholesaler, which, in my experience, frequently means a delay of up to 4-5 months. Some delay is to be expected when dealing in this area, but ship times of this length are extreme. You need to be aware of this ship time before ordering. In terms of other areas, they do have a "quibble-free" return policy, which is always greatly appreciated. They are also, in most cases, fairly responsive to questions about product availability and order status that are e-mailed or phoned it. |

| Comments: | if i can offer some poor soul out there one piece of advice, it would be this: avoid tunnel records at all costs. i placed my order in september of 1997 and have still not received (and i only ordered some lost masters stuff). i ordered from seoul and payed more in international phone calls than i did for the original order. i talked to them and every time was another excuse. for example, the guy who took the order mistyped my credit card number and this was after i confirmed my order four weeks after placing it. one time i called, and by this point they knew who was on the phone, they tried to tell me the boss was out in the parking lot and she was so good to come back in and take the call. sounded really fishy to me. anyways, now i am still not listening to those cds and i faxed that company over ten times without any return correspondence. They have a fairly broad selection although some of the best stuff sells out quickly. He's very honest about the sound quality on the discs that he provides, and they come with very well done home made covers. All six discs that I received were good quality 80 minute discs, although the amount of music on them didn't demand it. Prices include postage and the discs were posted out the day that the funds were received. Payment can be in US$ or DM. Very good job especially recommended for buyers in Europe. |

He has an incredible selection, both of released boots and shows from the current tour. I can't speak for the current stuff but the old titles were well copied, onto 80 minute discs where needed. The covers were decent colour copies of the originals. Service was very quick, bearing in mind 10 days each way for post from the UK to Canada. Payment is in US$, and at $15 dollars a disc(with postage included) I thought them a bit expensive. There is no reduction for multi disc sets, although I did get a discount on one set where he had no copies of the cover. Recommended for the range, but for relatively common titles you might want to shop around. |

If anyone hasn't heard this one, let me tell you it lives up to all the hype. Emotions and energy level from Bruce and the E Streeters is very high. Olli did a wonderful job designing the front and back covers and I couldn't ask for more from a CDR copy! I've been doing business with this young guy since February 2000 and he's always prompt in sending out the CDs and answering any questions. He has a very extensive collection including TV appearances and all those rare songs like the live version of Dollhouse done only once during the tour. Nice job from a nice guy! |
