"Takata Speaks"
My name is <withheld>. I come through Penelope Jewell, from Linda Kaiser Mardis, from Ethel Lombardi, from Takata Sensei.
In the last year I have been troubled with the distance, in time, from Takata's teachings. I was very concerned that as Takata's original Masters moved on, each subsequent generation of Reiki Masters and
Practitioners would have that much less a touchstone to what she taught.
I know that the Reiki is the teacher, and that the best way to understand the practice is to sit down, get quiet, and just Do it. Yet we live in a time and place in which well-meaning people routinely mix and match healing modalities. In the ensuing confusion, aspects of what Takata was taught, and learned over 40 years, risks being lost.
As I continued to wish, with all my heart, for a way for Takata's teachings to be directly and more widely available to us today, I learned ... about your first tape.
It is my prayer that you and many other of Takata's Masters will publish as much of her original material as possible....

Dear John Gray,
I listened to TAKATA SPEAKS today and I feel privileged to be able to listen to her. It left me in a state of awe, speechless, my mind trying to comprehend her words.
Her death was a loss to the world. If you record more of her classes, I'd very much like to purchase them.
