Dear student,
Welcome to Pennichuck! You will be part of the Yellow Team this year. The Team’s teachers are Ms. Martinez, who teaches English and Social Studies, Ms. Marshall, who teaches Science and Math, and Ms. Latvis, who teaches Computer Science. We are looking forward to getting to know you. We are sure that this year will be filled with lots of learning, fun, and growth!
To prepare for the school year, you will need to get some basic school supplies. You will need a sturdy book bag that is comfortable to carry around all day. Inside of this bag place the following:
 | Pencils with erasers |
| Pens (blue or black ink) |
| 2 three-subject spiral bound notebooks - those with perforated pages for easy tearing are preferred |
| Colored pencils –with erasers preferably, just a few colors is fine |
| 2 highlighters |
| A small supply box or pouch for your writing and coloring utensils |
| A pack of loose leaf white lined paper |
| Metric ruler –you will have homework that requires use of a metric ruler (centimeters) at home |
| 8 two-pocket folders that are hole punched |
| A ring binder to keep your pocket folders together |
| White-out correction fluid |
| A personal pack of tissues |
It is important to keep some supplies at home for completing assignments. You will need water-based markers, glue, scissors, tape, construction paper, and your metric ruler. You should also have access to a dictionary, thesaurus, and a calculator (a simple basic function calculator will do). If you don’t have a library card from Nashua Public Library, you should get one soon. You will need it throughout your high school career. If there are any supplies that you are unable to get, please let your teachers know and we will be glad to help in anyway that we can.
We need donations!
To help keep our classrooms running smoothly, we ask our students’ families to donate an item from the following list:
| boxes of tissues (We ALWAYS need tissues!) |
| a box of Swifter dusting rags (or other brand dusting rags ) |
| Mr. Clean antibacterial wipe-ups |
| rolls of paper towels |
| bags of M&M’s brand candy (occasional treats for students) |
| a bottle of glass cleaner |
| sponges |
| a small bundle of discarded magazines or catalogs |
If you choose to donate an item, we
will happily accept it anytime during the school year.
