The Education Committee, a subcommittee of the Moharimet Parent Teacher Organization, is a group open to all members of the Moharimet community. Its purpose is to provide a collaborative forum in which ideas may be explored, questions asked, opinions expressed, and answers sought on issues affecting the education of our children. Through our programming, we hope to facilitate dialogue between parent and educators.
This past March [1995] a second Moharimet forum was held, attended by over 120 parents and Moharimet educators. As a result of that forum, there was a survey distributed relative to our student progress reporting. The committee will spend some time analyzing the results of the survey and Mr. Harrington will report to the community in late fall on the results.
