What's New at Kilblaan? ALPACA BASICS A clinic for the new breeder and the person about to become one. Saturday June 28, 9-4pm
Kilblaan Farm is pleased to invite you to join Tim Lavan, AOBA-certified judge and experienced breeder, for a day-long clinic. We’ll cover: · how to pick out an alpaca, · how to care for alpacas · barn and pasture building · fleece skirting. There’ll be lots of opportunities to handle alpacas and see demos in a real-life setting. The cost of $85 covers the clinic as well as lunch, snacks and beverages ————————————————————————————— Name———————————————————————————————————————————- Phone___________________________________Email_______________________________________________ Topics you’d like to see covered___________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________________
We've got a great crop of crias this year, 9 girls and 6 boys. We're going country with our names so expect to see Patsy Cline and Buck Owens in the show ring next year! Here are a few of them: TAMMY WYNETTE REBA HONKYTONK ANGEL EMMY LOU HAGGARD
Something else that's new: Slate won her first banner. Reserve Champion grey at the 2007 New England Coastal Classic! We think that's really something to be proud of. The alpacas are venturing out into the fields to stretch their legs and search for that first green grass. It's going to be a while before these huge snow banks are gone! Don't let the weather keep you from calling us to schedule a farm visit. We'd love to make you a great deal before the new crias start coming! |
