Training is the science, while riding is the art. As a training facility, in addition to the development and continuous process of refinement of our own schoolmasters, Sons of the Wind offers training for outside horses as well. Using the classical principals and an innate ability to develop a respectful rapport with each horse, Vitor meticulously develops a training program for the young horses, or refinement program for the upper level horses. Depending on the needs of the individual, Vitor utilizes in-hand work, long-line work, as well as work in the saddle, to develop the horse's mind and body. With this solid foundation, he prepares each horse and its rider for the upper level movements.
