A gang of wild turkeys

We were trapped! Joann and I were about to leave for the weekend (Friday, February 15, 2008) when a couple of turkeys started strolling across the snow in the backyard. They stately walked up to the bird feeder while even more turkeys started coming out of the woods in back. Within minutes, we counted 31 turkeys by the bird feeders. After being held hostage for about 20 minutes, we cracked the side door a bit. Disturbed, but not particularly ruffled, the turkeys filed out through the woods in the same direction they came in. We have no idea where they were staying or where they were going.
