VICTOR CLARK HART, Gosben, Conn., eldest son of Miles Hart, of the same town, and his wife, Laura (Clark), born March 26th, 1821; married May 16th, 1850, at North Mansfield, Conn., Weltha Elizabeth Hanks, who died August 8th, 1862, when he second married March 24th, 1864, Mrs. Adaline Hall Peterson. He is a farmer and mechanic, and was living in Goshen, Conn., in 1874. He was not drafted in the late war, but sent a substitute, at an expense of $500.

FREDERIC MILES HART, Goshen, Conn., second son of Miles Hart, of the same town, and his wife, Laura (Clark), born May 4th, 1823. He was a young man of much promise, and was studying for a physician, when he died very suddenly of heart disease, on Long Island, December 7th, 1845, aged 22 years.
