GEORGE BENJAMIN HART, Guilford, Conn., third son of George Hart, of the same town, and his wife, Clarissa (Parmelee), born April 21st, 1831, at Guilford, Conn.; married September 14th, 1853, Harriet B. Wildman, of Danbury, Conn., who died May 2d, 1857.

STEPHEN PIERCE HART, Berlin, Conn., eldest son of Submit Hart, of the same town, and his wife, Mary (Cone), born, January, 1836, at Berlin, Conn.; married July 3d, 1858, Adelia Qualters, of Boston. He enlisted at Portland, Maine, in the Seventeenth Regiment Maine Volunteers, in the late war, and was wounded at the battle of Gettysburg, July 2d, 1863. He never asked a pension. In 1865 he was in the Invalid Corps at Indianapolis, Ind. In 1874 he was in a britannia and silver ware factory at Milwaukee, Wis., at work at his trade.

          Nellie Adelaide, born August 11th, 1860, at Dorchester, Mass.; died November 17th, 1861, in Westbrook, Maine.
          Charles Elmer, born February 22d, 1863, in Westbrook, Maine. He lives in Aurora, Ill.
          Nelly Qualters, born about 1868, an adopted daughter of his wife’s brother.

ELIZABETH LAMONT HART, Goshen, Conn., eldest daughter of Deacon Henry Hart, of Goshen, Conn., and his wife, Annie Elizabeth (Street), born December 1st, 1809, in Goshen, Conn.; married in 1838, Rev. Henry D. Pendleton, of Cornwall, Conn., who was preaching in Illinois in 1874. She died of consumption, in Henry, Ill., February, 1850, in her 41st year. They had children, viz: 1, William Henry, born March 7th, 1840, died January 29th, 1842; 2, Lucretia Ann, born October 1st, 1844, and died the same day; 3, Ann Lucretia, born April 16th, 1848; died, May, 1851.
