pastor; married September 15th, 1818, before Rev. Newton Skinner, Chauncey, son of Solomon Clark, and his wife, Elizabeth (Smith), born April 15th, 1787, at New Britain. She died without children, October 16th, 1819, aged 30 years, when second he married, December 2d, 1824, Mary J. Smith, daughter of Solomon, and his wife, Lucy (Carter). Mr. Clark was a well-to-do farmer, located near the east line of the town, on East Street, and died December 22d, 1855, aged 70 years. His widow died September 2d, 1872, aged 76 years.

AZUBAH HART, New Britain, Conn., fourth daughter of Asahel Hart, Sr., of the same town, and his first wife, Anna (Kilborn), born at New Britain, and baptized there, September 16th, 1792; married November 9th, 1809, Apheck Woodruff, of Avon, He was a farmer, and lived on Lovely Street.

ELIZABETH NORTON HART, fifth daughter of Asahel Hart, Sr., of the town of New Britain, and his first wife, Anna (Kilborn), born at New Britain, and baptized there, May 14th, 1795; married Wakeman Norton Stanley, son of Noah, and his third wife, Naomi (Burritt), born March 9th, 1793. He was a plain farmer, and lived in Stanley Quarter. He and his wife were admitted to the church in New Britain, August 5th, 1821. He died with malignant fevers August 19th, 1823, aged 30, when she second married Azmon Woodruff, of Avon. She became a Baptist, and died at Richland, N. Y., January 3d, 1852, aged 54. She left children, Viz: Charlotte Stanley, married George Hale; and Horatio Stanley, married Margaret Brace.
ADNA THOMPSON HART, Avon, third son of Asahel Hart, Sr., of New Britain, and his first wife, Anna (Kilborn), born 1796, and baptized in New Britain, May 28th, 1797; married January 20th, 1820, Lydia Woodruff, daughter of Moses, and his wife, Anna (Woodford), born July 10th, 1793. He went from Avon to New Britain, where he was a shoe-maker by trade, but afterwards ran Judd’s Mill, in Avon, several years, and died there, October 4th, 1839, aged 43, and was buried in West Avon Cemetery. She died at Canton, November 3d, 1860, aged 67, and was buried by the side of her husband, in Avon.
