Each doll is an original creation.

All costume materials, trim, shoes and accessories are hand selected by the designer.

Frequenting auctions, antique stores and fabric shops Barbara's creations are generally a combination of vintage clothing and old dresses, old and new material inlcuding silk dupionni, taffetas and broccades appropriate to the era.

LACE used is vintage. Beads and buttons can be a combination of old and new.

UNDER GARMENTS are custom sized and hand sewn from old slips and panteloons.

SOCKS are hand sewn from ladies stockings or are new "hand crochet" socks accomapnied by shoes which are often made from older leather gloves or materials from the costume.

JEWELERY

HEADS are poured from Seeleys Lady White porcelain slip each deatil hand panted.

BODIESare constructed of Seeley's composition or porcelain shoulder plates, armes and legs.

EYES by G. Schopherln, solid glass paper-wieght.

WIGS by Kemper, Wee Three or Global and of a synthetic material.
