Mystic Acres Studios Western Show Tack
Mystic Acres tack is built with attention to detail, scale, and accuracy in mind. All leather edges are hand burnished for a smooth finish, all hardware is filed smooth, and all leather that touches your model are lined with non-bleeding leathers to avoid unpleasant surprises. I use Rio Rondo bits & hardware, and hand-pick all leather. Several of the tooling patterns used are unique to Mystic Acres. Please e-mail me to see what sets are currently available.


These sets include a corner tooled saddle with string front girth and leather back girth, saddle pad with tooled wear leathers, and a silver-decorated one-ear show bridle with cast bit and braided reins with leather poppers for proper drape. Tooling patterns: basketweave (shown) and scrollwork.		These sets include a fully tooled saddle with string front girth and leather back girth, saddle pad with tooled wear leathers, and a fancy show bridle with cast bit, silver decorated cheekpieces and ear loops, and braided reins with leather poppers for proper drape. Tooling patterns: tri-weave (shown), scrollwork, and basketweave.

These sets include a fully tooled round skirted saddle in scrollwork pattern, with string front girth, woolen saddle pad, and a fancy show bridle with cast bit, silver decorated cheekpieces and ear loop, romal rein, riata and hobbles.

Silver options for Western tack include sterling silver horn cap, cast pewter cantle plate, cast pewter stirrups and cast pewter back cinch slot covers.

Arab sets can also add a cast pewter bit connector, sterling silver lacing on the back skirt, silver lacing on the cantle, and a silver laced horn.

Saddles with regular "square" skirts can add cast pewter corner plates (up to two pair on the back and one pair on the front of the skirts) and can also add cast pewter false back billet buckles.
