Guido_Caccitori honors the Italian name this seller's father used during World War II as he drove Half Track north from Anzio Beach through Rome and Florence, en route to Lake Como at the end of the war. The name signifies the best of honorable intentions during difficult times. |
Guido maintains a mix of pasttimes, from playing woodwinds in Smoked Kielbasa, to rock climbing, backcountry skiing, paddling and travel. Each is a passion. Smoked Kielbasa is a string-driven 7-10 piece dance band which plays an eclectic mix of polkas, tangos, ethnic music at outdoor festivals, a barrage of Irish tunes each St. Patrick's Day, and a jazz-pop-blues mix for house parties. Smoked Kielbasa is three violins, guitar/keyboard, bass, clarinet/sax, drums and a chorus of voices - all having a ball! Smoked Kielbasa plays outdoor festivals throughout New England, live on major market radio stations, and even in the occasional smoked-filled bar! Smoked Kielbasa is based in southern New Hampshire, and plays in configurations of 3 to 10 pieces to suit any need. SK's faves are large, outdoor patio parties with great folks and food! Contact Smoked Kielbasa at: www.pobohemian.com Rock climbing, telemark skiing, and paddling are passions as well as music. I carry a clarinet atop many mountains, and take a break from paddling a canoe to play from islands in lakes throughout the Northeast. For twenty years, I developed outdoor programs and guided trips in climbing, winter ski touring, paddling, bicycle touring, backpacking and survival. A twenty year, certified guidance counselor, Guido also offers independent college advisement to families who desire greater support during the college application years.
