What's included and what's not

Channels:

In general I have decided to include only television stations which are in or near Boston Massachusetts, USA. Mainly these are channels which have fairly good reception when viewed in, say, downtown Boston. (As of 6/97, this does not include WNDS in Derry, NH, sorry). I have decided not to include cable channels and channels which are not viewable without cable. Some of these stations do include additional airings of science fiction shows (especially for syndicated shows), so if you receive them, check your local listings.

Shows:

Basically, if a show is included in the SFTV listings, it is included here. Unless I arbitrarily decide that it strays awfully far from the SF realm. But feel free to convince me that your favorite show really is Science Fiction! I also do not include animated shows. Only current shows are included, so shows in syndicated reruns like Star Trek: the Next Generation (Mondays 12:30 am on channel 56 WLVI) and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (Saturday at 6:00 pm on 56)- see- it's a good thing to read my ramblings! :), umm, yeah, shows permanently in reruns aren't listed.

Everything:

If you think a show or channel is being wrongly excluded, drop me a line and I'll consider it. You are also welcome to try to convince me to change the above policies. I would especially appreciate it if you could let me know if any of the data listed here is wrong. Stations often change times, shows get cancelled unfortunately, episode ordering get changed, I just plain get it wrong... . I'd appreciate any corrections!

I've set up the By Show and By Time pages to be accurate in general, but not necessarily on a week-by-week basis. So, for example, a week's special showing of The X-Files won't be listed, and likewise, a pre-emption of Voyager due to a sporting event won't be indicated. Full listings for the current week can be found on the This Week page. These will be accurate listings for the week. By the way, please note that the VCR+ codes and episode titles in the By Week listings are all auto-generated, so if your VCR actually ends up taping Baywatch, don't blame me (uh, don't thank me either)! Every 3 or 4 months I'll try to do a complete re-check of the non- by-week times and shows, and on a more timely basis, I'll make any updates that I notice or of which I am made aware.

I guess I'd better say here, that all pages comprising this Boston SF TV site are copyright 1997-1999 by Jennifer Lu Greene (that's me), but I hereby grant everyone permission to copy the data and/or source code of these pages, including copying, printing, distributing and cutting out sections as long as you don't make a profit by doing it and you give me a wee bit of credit by including the part that says I created it. The pictures and logos on this site are copyright 1997 by Jennifer Lu Greene (me again), and I grant permission for their use as long as it is in conjunction with mention of this Boston SF TV site or my name, Jennifer Lu Greene. For any other use, ask me please (I'll probably say "Yes"). And if all that's not lenient enough, let me know. I hope you enjoy these pages and find them useful. I created this site because it was fun. And also because I got tired of Bill (another coworker) asking me what time Babylon 5 was re-run on 38. Thanks Bill! :)
