Chuck and Fred did a bushwhack to Mendon Peak (3840-ft; near Rutland, VT) in June 2005.

We followed this logging road (better than many trails!) most of the way to the peak.

Then we started our bushwhack from the height of land (at the third cairn after the fourth water crossing).
