Marianne and Fred bushwhacked to Flat Mtn. South (2940-ft; Sandwich Range Wilderness) in June 2008.

We parked at the turnaround at the end of Bennett Street Loop Road and whacked north to the summit.

Along the way we find Yellow Birch (Betula alleghaniensis).
