Marianne and Fred did a bushwhack to Castle West Peak (3590-ft; near Nash Stream Forest, NH) in August 2006.
We had supper the evening before at Glendon's Chowder House (Cabot Motor Lodge, Route 2, Lancaster), where we got this gorgeous view of the Pilot Range. A hiker's playspace! The three pointy peaks from the left are: Hutchins, Pilot Range Middle Peak, and Mary. The large mountain on the right is Cabot.
