DID SHE JUMP OR WAS SHE PUSHED?

October 31, 1997

Bedford, NH - Police were called to Wendy's Whimseys early this morning to investigate what happened to Wilma the Witch, who was found unconscious on the foyer floor by the family. Wilma, now recovering at the local hospital, has no memory of the event. Interviews are being conducted with the family. Statements taken from Wendy, Wanda and Merlin, who may have witnessed what occurred have revealed nothing. A confidential source from inside the police force states "Police are baffled by the event and the reluctance of anyone close to the incident to discuss it. Without further information, it may be ruled an accident." Anyone with any knowledge of what may have occurred are urged to contact the Bedford Police.

Wilma Investigation Renewed

Bedford, NH - Sources close to the Wilma investigation today revealed that new evidence has been uncovered which may indeed confirm foul play, (and not horse play) was involved in this long time tragedy. Wilma was found unconscious lying on the lower landing of the foyer in her Bedford home last October. Although Wilma was not alone in the house, no witnesses came forward at that time and police had theorized the probable cause of the tragedy was the result of an accidental fall.

With today's new lead, investigators have resumed questioning of the Aladdin family, Tin Woodsman, Dorothy, all of Bedford. Other witnesses are still being located at this time. Unidentified sources indicate that the police have identified a possible suspect in this case.

Fashion Fairy Disappears

Bedford, NH - A well-known local Bedford model has been reported missing for the last four days. Known by her stage name "Babs, the fashion fairy" the model disappeared after leaving home for a shopping trip to the local mall. Babs is described as about 11" tall, blond hair, last seen wearing a fuschia taffeta gown, carrying a rose garland, and was barefoot.

Police suggest the woman's disappearance while bazaar, may not be completely accidental. Babs may be linked in the Wilma Investigation and is being sought as a key witness for questioning. Sources have indicated a woman meeting this description recently purchased a bus ticket to Golden Valley MN although there is no record the ticket was used. Police have advised Minnesota authorities to be on the lookout for the missing woman.
