The Woodland Elf was sculpted from Super Sculpy during the ice storm of 1998. It happened two weeks later for us here in New Hampshire than it did for those who lived in Maine. My husband took off for a trip to England right in the middle of it. Three hours later while I was out trying to find our driveway, the power went out. The woodland elf sits on a rock with his clarinet in his hands ready to play his woodland tunes to the various creatures surrounding him. There is a birdbath with birds, a hummingbird with its beak buried in a flower, butterflies, nests, and even a turtle at his feet. It is a very busy forest clearing.
