Textile Tarts Projects Page

Updated September 21, 1999.

The Textile Tarts decided to host an exhibit to promote children's literacy. We are delighted to be able to show you some of the dolls our members have created for the "Tell Me A Story" exhibit which will be traveling to our local libraries next year. Local papers have been very enthusiastic about our project.

On September 2nd nine of our members unvieled thier creations to the club and to members of the local media. The Union Leader of Manchester, NH had an article and photo in the September 7th State Edition. The Bedford Bulletin placed the article and a color photo on the front page of the September 9th edition. We are also anticipating an article in a new paper that will be coming out this week. More on that later.

Now for what you all have been waiting for, photos of the dolls. Click on the thumbnail below of the book to see the doll created from the book. We think you will be as delighted as we are. And there are more coming next month!
