Glory, Not a Good Day

Glory was not having a very good day to begin with, and when she sat down to ponder her fate - she sat in the birdbath! As you can see, the hummingbird flying just over her shoulder is trying to cheer her up (or figure out what she is doing there).

Glory is a limited edition of one, an angel priced at $250. She is wearing a white silk robe wrapped in gold ribbon. Her halo has slipped just a little but perhaps it's because she has pink fingernails and toenails under her Roman sandals. Her blonde hair is made of mohair and she about 9" high in her sitting position. She arrives perched on her very own 9" wide by 4" high resin filled birdbath (not shown). Total height of completed piece is 11". Armatured cloth with a hand painted face. And like all Wendy's Whimseys, a one of a kind creation.
