Please note that to use the list, you must send out list-related mail in text only format, as the listserv does not handle HTML or Mime.

§ To join, send an email from your home account to majordomo@lists.mv.net
(You can copy/paste the address from here)
§ Leave the subject heading blank.
§ In the body of the message, type "subscribe Gamers your@email.address.here" (without quotes)
§ In a few minutes or hours, you will receive a note from the list's autoresponder
§ In that note, there will be an authorization string (letters and numbers.)
§ Copy and paste this authorization string into a reply to the message, again with no subject.
§ Send the message back, and the listserv will automatically add you.

If you do not send back the authorization string, you will not be added to the list. This prevents spammers from adding members of this list to their own nefarious mass-mailing lists.

If you are a member of the list, and you do not wish to be a member, follow these instructions to unsubscribe:

§ Send a message to majordomo@lists.mv.net
§ Leave the subject heading blank.
§ In the body of the message type "unsubscribe gamers your@email.address.here" (without quotes)
§ If, after you have sent the message you continue to receive email from the list, email me and let me know.

Rules of the list:

† No profanity: Swears are non-heinous and excessive profanity will result in your removal from the list.
† Keep on topic:
Tangents are okay, but no platform wars or insulting blood-sucking vampires.
† No Spamming: Any spam sent to the list constitutes acceptance of the Gamers' List lynching policy.
† Send game updates to the list moderator (the Marquis du Jarod), not the list.

Rules are subject to change without notice. Check this page for new rules as they are made. Violators of ex post facto rules will not be removed from the list unless they continue their violations. Thank you.
