It was one hot afternoon when suddenly I heard a loud banging sound I had never heard before. The sound I later learned was called thunder which came just before the water started pouring out of the sky. The sky was dark and gray.
There was lightning in the distance; nature's fireworks. The sound of the thunder reverberated across the deserts. There was a bright flash in the distance. Suddenly it started to pour rain. Frightened by the sounds of the infrequent roar of the thunder, the children huddled together as they fantasised about what the sounds could mean.
The smoke started to dance and stung the people's noses from the lamp. "My brother and sister were afraid, and I was praying that nothing terrible would happen". The town's people were very frightened; there hearts were leaping against their chests. "The lamps stayed of and we were in the DARK!" her little brother said, wide-eyed, "We had to go inside the hall in that garden on the Nile, the garden of the yachting club. We went out after the rain stopped. The garden was full of lamp posts and tables and chairs". As they walked into the halls of the garden, they suddenly stepped into another world... one that was unfamiliar...
... A dog named Amber was out in the storm. The poor thing looked like it hadn't been fed in a week; she was soggy and wet from the rain. Her dog tag showed that she belonged to a girl named Natalie. Some kids ran outside and brought the dog in.
